GlobeWyze Inc.
Collection Notice
Updated October 8, 2026
GlobeWyze Inc. gives you this notice at or before we collect personal information, as required by the openness and identifying-purposes principles of PIPEDA and by comparable provincial privacy law, including Quebec's Law 25 where it applies.
Who is collecting it
GlobeWyze Inc., a venture studio operating in Canada and the United States. Privacy requests go through Contact.
What we collect
- Identifiers you provide: name, email address, and account credentials.
- Professional and company information in an application: roles, background, company name, product, location, customers, competitors, revenue, incorporation, and timing.
- Communications you send us, and files in a workspace you choose to share.
- Internet and device data: IP address, browser, device type, pages used, and approximate location inferred from the connection.
- Inferences a person or Wyzer draws from the application in order to draft a review. A person decides whether a partnership proceeds.
Why it is collected
- To open an account and keep it secure.
- To review the venture and run the deal desk if you apply.
- To answer a message you send.
- To send messages about that application. Separate marketing messages are sent only with the consent CASL requires.
- To refer or share information with GlobeWyze portfolio companies when that supports the venture's growth or a synergy with a portfolio company.
- To secure the site and understand which pages are used.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context advertising. We may refer or share information with GlobeWyze portfolio companies when that supports the venture's growth or a synergy between the venture and a portfolio company.
Service providers and location
Hosting, email, authentication, and file storage may be performed by providers in Canada or the United States. GlobeWyze remains accountable under PIPEDA for information it transfers for processing.
How long we keep it
We keep each category only for the purpose it was collected, for a partnership that follows, and for any retention period Canadian law sets. You may ask us to delete account and application information, subject to those duties.
Your choices
You may refuse to provide information, with the result that we may be unable to open an account or review an application. You may ask for access or correction, withdraw consent, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to the commissioner in your province if that office has jurisdiction.
